An online documentary sharing the real stories of what life is like in Jordan’s Za’atari refugee camp.
A small team of SBS’s Journalists spent three weeks in Za’atari documenting the day to day activity within the camp and uncovering four key stories of Syrian refugee’s.
This project was a collaboration between the Fluency team and SBS curating video, interviews and image content. Our goal was to communicate each story in an engaging way so viewer’s in Australia could understand the complex unfolding situation in Syria and how the war has effected the refugee’s to help generate awareness.
What was created was a one page scrolling journey enriched with voice over’s, video loops, image galleries and diary entries broken down into four main character timelines.
